- Foundation Gallery
A series of improvement works for Foundation Gallery on CR-1/F has been completed in September 2025, with the provision of double-layer automatic roller blind, ceiling type humidity control devices and the associated speaker system, including the setup of long term display corner for the exhibition relating to the University advised by the Working Group on Foundation Gallery Curation from time to time.
- New Acoustic Booth for Meeting Use
To address the high demand for meeting rooms on campus, 2 new acoustic booths have been installed on M-4/F and B-1/F for use as ad hoc meeting spaces. Subject to user feedback, more booths may be introduced in due course.
- New Chairs for Yip Kit Chuen and Yuen Yuk Hing Hall & Auditorium
To enhance the experience during assembly activities or gathering events in Yip Kit Chuen and Yuen Yuk Hing Hall & Auditorium, new widened chairs have been purchased.
- Briefings for Improvement works of M Building
A large-scale improvement project at M Building will take place from March to December 2026. CDMO has provided a series of project briefings in February 2026 to those affected departments/ offices on the scope of works and the precaution measures for the potential disturbances. While noise disturbances are inevitable, CDMO appreciates the users’ feedback, understanding and accommodation indeed!
