1. Seasonal Flowers during Ceremonies and Festivities
More than 400 potted plants embellished the main campus during the Graduation Ceremony in December 2021. More flowers and plants added colours to the campus during the Chinese New Year period.
2. Maintenance Work for Organic Farm in 2021 summer
Maintenance work including mowing, weeding and digging etc were carried out at organic farms during the fallow period (Summer) in order to provide heavier soil environment for coming season.
3. Beautification Works at Main Campus and RCs
Beautification works including replacement of new shrubs, turf replacement and thinning pruning were carried out regularly in order to enhance visual effect and prevent tree falling from strong wind.
4. Award
The HSUHK was granted the Certificate of Merit at the 2020 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence, organized by Environmental Campaign Committee and Environmental Protection Department, on 9 Nov 2021.
