1. Recycle of soil from Euphorbia pulcherrima, 聖誕花
We had recycled soil from Euphorbia pulcherrima, 聖誕花 after Christmas. Recycled soil will be used in planters and pots in our campus.
2. Organic Farming
Organic farming at Lee Shau Kee Complex continues into its second season. Harvest includes tomato and aubergine.
3. Campus' Plants Information Station
Plants information is updated regularly on notice board near M246 in order to allow staff and students to learn more about the species, and their planting location and flowering period.
4. New tools for pruning tree
Tools powered by electricity for pruning trees have replaced those by petroleum in order to improve air quality and reduce noise pollution.
5. Lift modernization works
Lift modernization works for the three lifts at M Building have commenced since 4 September 2020. The works for lift no. 3 and 2 were completed and the lifts resumed normal operation on 14 December 2020 and 24 March 2021 respectively. Upon its completion, items upgraded/added are as below:
a. Enhanced safety system along the lifting mechanism.
b. Replaced with energy efficient motor.
c. Additional infra-red sensor at door closing system.
d. Additional intercom system.
e. Enhanced hall button panel, lift operating panel and position indicator.

Modernization works for lift no. 2 is in progress and expected to resume normal operation by end April 2021. Modernization works for lift no. 1 will be arranged afterwards.
