Updates on Precautionary Measures against COVID-19
With the spikes in number of COVID-19 infection cases in Hong Kong, the University has continued with regular precautionary measures and stepped up on the following areas:
1. Disinfection coating in public areas
Disinfection coating applications have been carried out in Oct 2020 and Jan 2021 in all public areas on campus to safeguard the health of the campus community. The next regular coating applications on campus and at RC are planned in Apr and May 2021 respectively.

2. Mask vending machines
Two mask vending machines have been installed since November 2020 at the covered area under College Hall and G/F shuttle life lobby, SH Ho Wellness College of RC for the convenience of all students/staff.
3. " LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app
The Government launched the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app to provide a convenient and voluntary digital tool for citizens to record their visit history to different venues. In order to further safeguard the health and safety of the University community, the University has participated in the programme and posted the corresponding QR codes at various venues within the campus and residential colleges in November 2020. All HSUHK members may download the mobile app and scan the QR code when entering the places as listed in Appendix I.
