各位教職員及同學：
大學各部門已於2020年5月11日回復正常運作，為即將展開的暑期學年作準備。
因應疫情發展，大學自本年2月初實施安檢措施，所有進入校園的人士均須於校園入口檢查站進行體溫檢查後方能進入校園，並須在校園內佩戴外科口罩。
根據現時香港強制檢疫安排，由內地、澳門或台灣抵港人士（包括香港居民及其他地區旅客），或抵港前14天曾到任何海外國家或地區的香港居民，必須在指定地點（家居或其他住所）接受強制檢疫，獲豁免人士除外。
教職員及同學如身體不適，或出現發燒及呼吸道感染徵狀或肺炎病徵，必須戴上外科口罩，不應上班或上學，避免前往人多擠迫的地方，及盡早向醫生求診。
另外，校方亦已制訂了處理2019冠狀病毒病個案的相關呈報機制。若教職員及同學出現有關2019冠狀病毒病徵狀、確診或曾與確診個案病人有間接或直接密切接觸，請按以下安排呈報:
- 教職員及同學(非宿生)，應聯絡本處:
- 辦公時間 – 高級主任(防火、健康與安全)何炎堂先生(3963-5227或 jasonho@hsu.edu.hk)
- 非辦公時間 – M座三樓保安室當值員工聯絡 (24小時熱線：3963-5166);
- 宿生可向相關書院院長通報，書院院長其後會通知本處何炎堂先生。
接獲呈報後，何炎堂先生會盡快將個案通知校園發展及管理處主管和副校長 (機構發展)，並適時通知衞生防護中心。
校方會密切留意疫情發展及作出評估，繼續執行必須的防疫措施，因應情況作出必要的安排和適時發放消息。請大家提高警覺，維持良好個人衛生及保持適當社交距離。

Dear Colleagues and Students,
The University has resumed normal operations since 11 May 2020 to prepare for the commencement of the Summer Term on 8 June 2020.
In view of the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, security and safety measures the University has implemented since early February 2020 remain in place, requiring body temperature to be taken of all persons entering the campus at all entrance checkpoints, and wearing of surgical mask on campus.
Under the current Compulsory Quarantine Arrangement in Hong Kong, inbound travellers from the Mainland, Macao or Taiwan (including residents and non- residents) or Hong Kong residents arriving in Hong Kong who have been to any overseas countries or areas in the past 14 days have to stay at designated places (home or other accommodation) for compulsory quarantine, except for exempted persons under the Arrangement.
Staff and students feeling unwell, or suffering from fever and respiratory illness, or pneumonia are required to wear a surgical mask, refrain from work or attending class on campus, avoid going to crowded places and seek medical advice promptly.
In addition, the University has established a reporting mechanism of handling COVID-19 related cases. Staff and students who have relevant symptom, or have been diagnosed as a confirmed case, or are directly or indirectly in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 should following the below prescribed procedures:
- Staff or students (non-RC residents) shall report to:
- Jason Ho, Senior Officer (Fire, Health and Safety) at 3963-5227 or jasonho@hsu.edu.hk (during office hours)
- M3 security unit at 3963-5166 (after office hours);
- RC residents shall report to their respective RC Master who will then notify Mr. Jason Ho.
Mr. Jason Ho will report relevant cases to HCDM and VPOD as soon as possible, and to CHP as appropriate.
The University will continue to carry out necessary on-campus infection control measures, monitor and assess the situation closely and make necessary arrangement and announcement as appropriate.
Please continue to stay vigilant, maintain good personal hygiene and proper social distancing.
